COPING WITH ANXIETY AS A MULTI-PASSIONATE CREATIVE – SEVEN BIBLE STRATEGIES FOR MANAGING AND THRIVING

As imperfect multi-passionate creatives, Anxiety is a common feeling that we all experience from time to time. It’s a state of mind where we feel unease, such as worry and/or fear.

Triggers for these feelings can be caused by various situations like;- starting a new venture or working on a new idea, living up to higher achievement goals we set, keeping up with the world’s fast-paced trends and its standards for being successful, managing a business, or even social events, just to mention a few.

For some people, anxiety can become overwhelming and interfere with their daily lives… leaving them feeling emotionally, mentally and physically drained. If you find yourself to be one of such persons struggling with anxiety, I want you to know that you are not alone, and this is something I deal with quite often than I would like to admit but it is a completely normal factor in our imperfect existence.

What then can help us cope with anxiety efficiently?

Let us explore seven practical Bible advice that can help us all in managing anxiety;- in the pursuit of living a fulfilling purposeful life.

SEVEN (7) BIBLE ADVICE FOR COPING WITH ANXIETY

In other for these practical wisdom I’m about to share, to be as useful to you as it has been for me, you have to be willing to;

  • Pray to God Almighty to help you,
  • Meditate on your past experiences, to see how Jehovah God has helped you overcome other difficult moments in the past when you felt anxious, and then,
  • Act on what you learn from the reflection!!!

Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to fall.

Psalm 55:22

The plans of the diligent surely lead to success, but all who are hasty surely head for poverty.

Proverbs 21:5

Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

Who of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his life span?

Matthew 6:27I

So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles.

Matthew 6:34

Make sure of the more important things.

Philippines 1:10

Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4;6,7

In conclusion, coping with anxiety is possible with the right strategies in place. This strategy requires us to take care of ourselves by cultivating unique qualities such as PATIENCE, TRUST, FAITH and ENDURANCE that are eternal… Because doing so will give us the confidence, inner strength and wisdom we need to cope with anxiety efficiently.

Developing healthy coping habits such as PRAYER, STUDY & MEDITATION can also help us build a support system to manage stress, challenge unhelpful beliefs and limit our exposure to unrealistic expectations of how we live our lives.

And at the end of the day;

The Peace Of God That Surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.
